Corrections and accuracy

I try to get the specifics right (humidity ranges, feeding intervals, shedding red flags), but I'm one keeper writing from experience and research, not an institution with a fact-checking desk. If you spot something that's outdated, doesn't match your own experience with a species, or looks like it's just wrong, email me with the article and what you think should change. I'll look into it and fix it if it checks out. This kind of feedback is genuinely useful, not an annoyance.

What we can and can't help with

Reptile Kryda is a publisher, not a reptile hotline. That distinction matters more here than on a lot of sites, because snake health questions can turn urgent fast. Here's the honest breakdown:

• What I can help with: feedback on articles, corrections, questions about why a guide recommends what it recommends, and general suggestions for topics you'd like to see covered.
• What I can't help with: diagnosing a sick or injured snake, replacing an exotics veterinarian, or giving you a real-time answer to "is this an emergency." If your snake is showing signs of illness, injury, a bite reaction, or anything that feels urgent, contact an exotics-experienced veterinarian directly. Don't wait on an email from me. Reptiles can carry Salmonella and some species carry their own handling risks, so when in doubt, a vet call is always the right move over a message to this site.

Everything else (typos, broken links, "have you thought about covering X") is exactly what this inbox is for.
